Review:
Now a days it has become a fashion to curse any problem or difficult situation in the country and society without offering anything to the society/country or working towards improving the situation. The four Patriots is a book which points out towards this problem prevailing today in our country. Patriotism is not a practice which is expected only from certain people but it is a feeling that should reside within each one of us. The Four Patriots is the story of four young and enthusiastic people who want to bring major changes in India through improving the Indian politics. It is a step towards changing our country and making that difference we always wished. The author Sumit Agarwal has come with a novel which deals with such difficult situations and has also given solutions for the same. The ideas provided by the author for the development of the country are sure unique and I congratulate him for coming up with those ideas and fabricating them beautifully.
The concept of the book makes it a must read for every Indian. It deals excellently with poverty, terrorism, naxalites and our country’s political problems. The writing style is simple yet engrossing. This book is a worth read to understand our problems in the country and perhaps, some of the possible solutions. The descriptions are very vivid and one can actually visualise the narration.
In a nutshell, I would like to say that The Four Patriots is a book that not only entertains but also gives some life lessons which are actually very much required in the current scenario. Based on the simple philosophy of “Be the change you want to see”, this book definitely inculcates some strong sense of patriotism among the readers and also suggests that it is not always necessary to become a soldier to show how much we love our country. We, as a common man, can also contribute our part to make this country a better place to live.
I enjoyed reading the book and recommend it to every Indian. A great read.
